Welcome to The Leather and Gift Shop! Founded in 1975 the “Shop” has been a pillar in the Northwoods community as a one-stop-shop for home goods, gifts, and custom leather work. As the years have passed, Leather and Gift has evolved into one of the areas must-sees for tourists and locals alike. 

We (Karen and Ted Stevens) became the stewards in 2015 and have not looked back! Karen is always on the lookout for new and unique items to bring in. Ted has taken to learning the “leather” side of Leather and Gift and has made some incredible custom pieces for customers. 

From our yearly Christmas Open House to our festive red white and blue displays for Bessemer Blast, there is always something to see. Our first floor features seasonal showcases, candles, jewelry, clothing, food items and much more. Upstairs you can find outdoor and lake decor, an expansive selection of baby items, and “Clearance Corner” where you can always grab a good deal! 

We strive to create a welcoming shopping environment where we take time to meet and share kind words with every one of our customers. Whether you stop in to shop for hours or just grab a greeting card, you will receive award winning customer service, and be asked the famous question, “Can we gift wrap that for you?”.
